I'm Alex Mil.
No fine dining degree. No fancy plating. Just honest recipes for anyone who actually wants to cook — meat, salads, desserts, and everything in between.
Cooking found me the hard way — through late shifts, empty fridges, and the need to make something real out of almost nothing. I learned by burning things, fixing mistakes, and slowly figuring out what actually makes food taste good: patience, heat control, and never being afraid of salt.
These days my kitchen is loud, a little messy, and always smells like garlic. I don't chase trends or plate things for the camera — I cook the way I'd want to eat if I came home hungry after a long day. That's what Daily Dish Ideas is built on.

I didn't grow up dreaming of being a chef. I grew up hungry, broke, and tired of eating the same boring dinner five nights a week. So I started cooking — badly at first, then better, then good enough that people started asking for the recipes.
Daily Dish Ideas started as a way to document what I was actually eating: grilled meat, cast-iron everything, big bowls of ramen after a long day. No styling tricks, no 45-ingredient recipes you'll never make twice. Just food that works.
These days I cook for a community of people who want the same thing I did — real dinners, real flavor, without turning the kitchen into a second job.
What I Stand For

If it's not worth eating twice, it doesn't make the site.

Go-To Ingredients
"Season more than you think you need. Then taste. Then season again."
Life Off The Grill
Cooking is most of it, but not all of it.

"The best recipes don't come from a studio — they come from actually living."
When I'm not testing recipes or scraping burnt pans, you'll usually find me outside — hiking, grilling for friends, or just enjoying a slow weekend with good food and better company.
I believe the best recipes come from real life, not a studio. So expect the occasional detour from the kitchen — because good food is meant to be lived, not just photographed.
